UK skincare brand Faace creates skincare designed for your skin’s mood that day. As they launched into some of the world’s most prestigious stores – from Liberty to Harrods – they challenged us to create a campaign that would help them stand out in an ever-saturated market.
CONCEPT
At RIVAL, some of our favourite ads are from skincare and beauty brands. But why do they always show women as powerful, confident and happy? Falling in love or laughing with friends? Our idea was to challenge the stereotypical portrayal of women in such ads, by showing the vast range of emotions you go through each week, day or hour – even. To show that as human beings we go through so many moods – so why do we think our skin is any different?
